    As distinctive as its name, Tapasake is home to an exciting fusion menu of Pan Asian flavours, influenced by the ‘tapas’ of Spain. Savour dishes prepared in the theatre-style kitchens as the chefs create Sushi, Teppanyaki, Batayaki and Tandoor. Housed in a traditional thatched Mauritian structure on stilts, Tapasake sits on the edge of the tranquil lagoon and offers over-water seating and views of sugarcane-covered mountains.

Junior Guests

The ’KidsOnly Club’ is a complimentary supervised daily programme from 10am to 10pm for children aged 3 to 11 and has its own clubhouse with a swimming pool, play areas, computers and its own restaurant with special menus. Activities include golf, tennis, windsurfing and environmental excursions. Children under three years old must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Baby-sitters are available at a charge.

For teenagers between 12 and 17 years old, there are sports, events, excursions, discos and theme evenings. There is also a meeting place for them to make friends so that they can plan their own programme with the help of the Sports and Entertainment teams.

General Manager's Hidden Hot Spot

My favourite hidden hotspot is at the far end of 'La Pointe' and white sandbank between the lagoon and the ocean. At the tip of the resort, this 30 meters of white sand stretch offers great views of the lagoon and the ocean and you can see and hear the waves. General Manager, Roman Goetsch.

Must Try Signature Dish

The catch of the day at La Pointe Beach restaurant. On some days local fishermen deliver by boat freshly caught fish, giving a great sense of place. The chefs also offer sea urchins that can be found in the lagoon and are delicious with a slice of lemon.
